CZ scholarship

Fully Funded the Government Scholarships to study at the Czech Republic universities in 2023

Granting scholarships to citizens from developing countries (referred to as “scholarship holders”)
for studies at Czech public higher education institutions (referred to as “universities”) is an important part of the foreign development cooperation of the Czech Republic and has a long tradition with other countries. From the late 1950s to the present day over 20,000 foreign nationals have completed their studies at Czech universities with a scholarship from the Government of the Czech Republic.

The terms and conditions, as well as the procedures for granting scholarships of the Government of the Czech Republic, are governed by the Guidelines for Granting Scholarships of the Government of the Czech Republic, and by the pertinent Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports scholarship program promoting the studies of foreign nationals in the Czech Republic that is announced by the Minister of Education, Youth, and Sports.

Scholarships are offered by the Czech republic government. Please note that the applicants who are awarded scholarships are not guaranteed university acceptance. Also, the conditions of admission applications and scholarship applications are different. We strongly recommend that applicants should read all the related admission requirements and regulations carefully.
